Welcome! My name is Jackie Wheeler. I specialize in teaching reading and writing to students, and I provide support for those diagnosed with dyslexia. With a Master's in Elementary Education and over a decade of experience in K-6 classrooms, I am passionate about creating an engaging yet structured approach to reading and writing. My own child's dyslexia diagnosis fueled my passion for teaching reading, motivating me to become Wilson Reading System trained. By tailoring my instruction to each individual's unique learning style and needs, I create an environment that fosters understanding and growth. Whether decoding words, refining writing skills, or enhancing comprehension, my goal is to empower students with the tools and confidence to succeed.

She makes learning so fun that he is genuinely excited to go to see her! He is playing a lot of catch up after COVID, and she is filling in the gaps in his learning that he has been missing.
