Educational Background: I hold a Master's in Elementary Education, which has provided me with a solid foundation in pedagogy and curriculum development. With over a decade of teaching experience in K-6 classrooms, I've honed my skills and gained a deep understanding of the challenges students face in their learning journey.

Curriculum Expertise: My passion for education led me to take on a leadership role as a resource teacher and curriculum specialist after a decade in the classroom. In this capacity, I not only wrote and developed curricula but also served as an educational coach, guiding fellow educators in effective teaching strategies.

Passion for Reading: My dedication to education took a personal turn when my own child was diagnosed with dyslexia. I embarked on a journey to learn and implement the Wilson Reading System with my own child. After seeing amazing results I knew I had to share this with others! 

Inspired by My Journey: My commitment to tutoring stems from my own childhood struggles with reading. I vividly recall the turning point in my life when I had a tutor named Ms. Hutchinson who not only helped me conquer my reading challenges but also nurtured my love for reading. This transformative experience drives my belief in the immense benefits of tutoring and the profound impact it can have on a student's life.

My goal: My mission is to instill a love for reading and writing in every student I work with, just as Ms. Hutchinson did for me.
